Rogue Galaxy - Timeless Town [Extended w/ DL Link]
November 5, 2010
Before we begin, I would like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for my life, and all the gifts which I've been given in it, including the ability to make this extension. Your name be glorified, my Savior, even in something as small as this. Amen.
I don't know about towns, but I've always found quality music to be timeless, myself. Thus we begin another episode of Amateur Extension Theater 2,000, where only the finest, little-known music gems are extended for your listening pleasure! I'm your DeLorean-yearning host, Alkahest.
Developed by Level 5 for the Sony Playstation 2, Rogue Galaxy is an action-based RPG with some unique characters, interesting gameplay, exquisite graphics, and best of all, a superb soundtrack composed by Tomohito Nishiura. Why yes, I do have those exact words on a notepad for copy/paste purposes; didn't think you'd pick up on that. Drat.
'Timeless Town' is heard in a quiet little desert village named Johannasburg, for reasons its residents don't quite fully recall. They seem a friendly enough lot, but there is something very peculiar about Johannasburg... almost as though the passage of time within it came to a virtual standstill. The reason for that, as well as the story behind its name, is quite literally... timeless.
For such a mesmerizing melody, it's a shame you only hear it in one (easily revisited) location. Just another stirring, memorable theme from Nishiura-san, yessir.
Oh, and speaking of time... I'm having a lot of fun working on my next upload. Hehehe, should be quite the show. See you then, viewers!
